Doctrine
The Mar-nifesto
A doctrine for the coastal acre. Mar as in sea. The heart is the registered

Mar means sea. Surprise! Waves for the ocean? Groundbreaking.
. (a dot is the center of the universe, I think)
Farm, in my fictional opinion, means a practice that requires physical exercise and patience to grow goods that one can eat. Not for me thank you.
Rather than move to the country side for a chance at better produce and less work (if aided by terrible weather and frequent rain), I decide to only farm the essentials.
In this day and age, that means aura. Aura is good. Aura is farmed. Aura farming does not require lots of soil prep and watering, and while at it can make a farm an eternal staycation of the mind. How mindful of me.
There's no we in team, but I can sure pretend there's multiple people behind this pointless website. Here's our Mar-nifesto, and our mar-nifiesta:
* \ "Alexa, play Marnie Michaels' greatest hits".***
\ Or as her cover of Edie Brickell's song "What I Am" would say:
* \ I know what I want, if you know what I mean.***
We love the slow-living internet enough to tease it. The copper pot, the lemon on the marble, the caption that pretends the morning arrived without a phone.
Rules of the property:
Do not pretend the light is accidental.
Do not buy a watering can instead of a boundary.
Do not confuse a still life with a life.
Keep one analog tool.
Read one long thing. Close the rest.
If you need an object, buy it at the Aura Farmers Market and let the maker ship it.
If the catalog set the table and labeled the jars, we are the cousin who put the ring light next to the twine, walked the olives down to the water, and wrote it down. Welcome to the farm.
